Job Description:

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT

The Agency Internet Program Branch has an immediate opening for a Senior Systems Engineer/BlackBerry Architect to support the current Agency BlackBerry Enterprise System and lead the BlackBerry to Exchange migration project.

The current Agency BlackBerry Enterprise System is comprised of BlackBerry Enterprise Server v 4.1.4, MS SQL, IBM Domino, and Window 2003 majority node clustering. Major effort underway to migrate existing BlackBerry system on IBM Domino backend to Microsoft Exchange 2007 architecture.

This position entails leading a technical team to:

-  Interface with customers to identify, define, and coordinate user, customer, and stakeholder needs and translate them    into documented requirements.

-  Identify best-fit technical solutions for defined requirements, with the potential to improve business processes.

-  Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.

-  Develop conceptual design, “proof of concept,” and pilots to test and evaluate proposed technical solutions.

-  Support Project Manager on Project Management Framework (PMF) control gates, which includes preparing required documentation, preparing briefing charts, and participate as a presenter.

- Work with Project Manager to identify and manage engineering tasks/activities and to meet project schedule.

Full-Time DEV - Software Engineer Tysons TS/SCI FS Poly Contract SOW definition of Software Engineer

Duties: Analyze and study complex system requirements. Design software tools and

subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manage their

implementation. Translates detailed design into computer software. Implement Cots

packages. Test, debug, and refine the computer software to produce the required

product. Prepare required documentation, including both program-level and userlevel

documentation. Enhance software to reduce operating time or improve

Specialized Qualifications: Experience managing or performing software engineering

The Common Folder Service (CFS) provides officers the ability to file and organize large numbers of intelligence items, regardless of format or system of origin, into a single set of shareable folders.  As a Services Oriented Architecture (SOA) common service, it will be used by multiple applications across the enterprise.

CFS seeks an experienced Developer who will help write software for CFS.  He/she will work on analysis, design and actual development and testing of new EJB software and web services using agile and test driven development methodologies. Full-Time SI - Systems Integrator Herndon TS/SCI FS Poly Manage the IAG Governance Board Process and the execution of the Engineering Review Board (ERB), and the Program Management Board (PMB) and Master Schedule.



These boards meet on a bi-weekly basis and usually alternate, so the resulting effect is that each board meetgs monthly. This alternating premise must be flexible so as to ensure the PMB is scheduled and conducted prior to and in preparation for the monthly IAG Program Review.



Duties for both boards include, but are not limited to:

-Maintaining, coordinating, and disseminating th agenda at least one week in advance of the scheduled biweekly board

-Directing the flow of the meetings according to the agenda items

-Recording the minutes, including discussions and decisions (as appropriate)
